Mission: Colbert

I am unleashing a Mission: Colbert campaign in the true style of nontrepreneur and truthiness icon, Stephen Colbert.  A Founding Moms movement is in order, and what better way than to begin with an appearance on The Colbert Report?

Mission:  To get Jill Salzman, author of Found It: A Field Guide for Mom Entrepreneurs, onto The Colbert Report and discuss the term “momtrepreneur” with Mr. Colbert himself.

Purpose:  To bring awareness of The Founding Moms and mom entrepreneurship in general to the public through the best show on television.

Tools:  A hard copy of the book was sent to the offices of The Colbert Report on 2/4/12.

Tactics:

1. Talk Twitter?  Tweet to @StephenAtHome or @ColbertReport and hashtag is #Colbert, along with ours which is @foundingmom

2. To Facebookians: post a request on http://www.facebook.com/thecolbertreport

3. To Formheads: send an email through Comedy Central’s form on their site here.

4. To Phone Pholks: call Colbert Report Studios at (212) 586-2477 during regular business hours.

5. To Emailers, contact the Colbert Nation webmaster at colbertweb@gmail.com.

Please take a moment to contact any or all of the above options.  When you do, leave a comment here about what and where you posted so that you can possibly win a prize!  (A Kogeto Dot, a ticket to StartupBus, and many more prizes in store.)

Help a fellow mom entrepreneur in a time of (book promotion and marketing) need.  My gut tells me this just may work.  Go on, make a difference.
