1/3 cup white wine vinegar
1.5 T poupon mustard
2 T balsamic vinegar
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1.5 tsp. dried basil
1 garlic clove, smooshed
1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup canola
1. Pull all ingredients from shelves. Move to computer, answer 12 e-mails.
2. Return to kitchen, locate whisk and large bowl. Throw top 7 ingredients into bowl. Uncover cell phone from mess you’ve just made, return 4 calls. (If you’re a high-level multitasker, make said calls while throwing said ingredients into bowl to save several minutes).
3. Whisk in oil, partially to make salad dressing and partially to work stress out. The harder the whisking, the tastier.
4. Pour into plastic container to keep in fridge for week. Quintuple recipe if too many meetings are scheduled for rest of week.
